Does the Law of Attraction Work?
The Law of Attraction states that if you think positively, positive things will happen to you. If you think negative things, negative things will happen to you. If you think you will be successful, the universe will move out of the way and you will be successful. But does the Law of Attraction work?
When I first heard of this I thought it was just a bunch of spiritual hoo-ha. How can you think things into existence? Just because you think something is true does not mean it is true, even if you wait for it. But when you think about the law of attraction you have to go a bit deeper than that.
What the Law of Attraction Doesn’t Tell You
Here are the 7 steps to using the Law of Attraction on wiki how.
- Relax your mind.
- Be sure about what you want and when you do decide don’t doubt yourself.
- Ask the Universe for it.
- Write your wish down.
- Feel it.
- Show gratitude.
- Trust the Universe.
Do you now see my initial doubts about this Law of Attraction? It’s missing a step:
8. TAKE MASSIVE ACTION!
There we go, much better. You can’t just sit there and good things will come to you, that’s what a lot of the material on the Law of Attraction seems to be saying. Although, if we dive a bit deeper the Law of Attraction doesn’t need to say to take massive action. If you are constantly thinking that you will succeed and you never doubt yourself there is no way you won’t take action. Your thoughts lead to action and your actions lead to success.
The Law of Attraction is a Double-Edged Sword
The Law of Attraction focuses more on your self-talk, and how to become more positive so that you may draw more positive things to you. If you constantly write down your goals and you always know what you want out of life and you focus 100% on your goals then your actions will inevitably align with your thoughts. If you know without a shadow of a doubt that you will succeed there is no way you will fail. But you still need to take action in your life.
The Law of Attraction can also work against you. If you are always negative you will also attract negative things in your life. This makes sense because your negative thinking will lead to anxiety, stress, and low self-esteem. How could you take action when you have a huge burden of negativity on your shoulders? In addition, instead of attracting people who think positively, you will instead repel them. Your negative emotions will be detrimental to their positive emotions. By thinking negatively you will attract people who think negatively as well because “Like attracts like”. So on top of thinking your no good, you will also be surrounded by people who also bring you down. This will easily cause your life to go into a downward spiral instead of an upward spiral. If you are stuck in this spiral the only way to get out of this is to start thinking positively and get rid of the negative people in your life. You can say that these are actions that you need to take.
So does the law of attraction work? The answer is it depends. If you are constantly focusing on the positive and you can imagine that you will be successful. Your thoughts will generate the actions you need to take in your life. In contrast, if you are constantly focusing on the negative it is very unlikely that you will take action. By projecting positive thoughts and images you will find that the universe moves out of your way, not because of any magic but because you become excited with a clear intent of what you want. With this mindset, you will take action. Not only that but you believe in yourself, and you don’t have the burden of negativity on your shoulders. With this positivity, you will 100 percent become more cheerful and as a result, make other people more cheerful. People would want to be around you, they would want to help you. Things will begin to go your way and fall into place.
Have a great day!
